Now that we know why you're here, we want to tell you why we're here, and that is because we are here to help you grow a deeper relationship with God, others and yourself.

That's it. That's the only reason why we're here. We hit rock bottom several years ago in our marriage. After 10 years of marriage, we were ready to throw in the towel and God came into our life. He's been into our life, but what happened is we went through a season where he was covered up with all the noise, he was covered up with all the influence of all the world and we got derailed in our marriage, in our walk, in our faith, and God restored us. We opened up ourselves, back up to God and, through the power of the Holy Spirit love, joy, peace we saw all the fruits manifested in our lives.

And we're here today because we want to be able to help you grow deeper, whether you are walking in marriage, whether you're dating, whether you're a parent, whether you're a boss or you're a coworker, and you want to figure out how to just do life better with the people that are in your surrounding, the people that you do relationships with, whether they're above you, under you or around you. That's why we're here. We don't have all the answers, but we have a lot of questions and we got stories to tell y'all. And maybe from our stories you could pull out some nuggets, pull out some seeds, pull out some roots, plant some new seeds, water it and we will grow deeper in God.

Let's dig, okay. So we're talking about Holy Spirit. You know, what's so powerful about the Holy Spirit is we've been teaching our kids the Holy Spirit is we've been teaching our kids right the power of the Holy Spirit and specifically growing their relationship with the Holy Spirit. Right, and our four-year-old daughter she's been scared. At night she goes to bed, she'll be scared, she'll. Daddy, can you pray for me? Can you pray this? I see monsters, things like that, and some of it. I don't know if it's in her imagination or if it's really true. So we're teaching her how to pray. We're teaching her how to have a conversation with God and put those fear, the anxiety, worry in God's hand. And so we use the power of the Holy Spirit.

We've been teaching our kids that that God loved us so much that it hurt him that we live in a fallen world. He made the decision to come off his throne and walk with us in the form of Jesus. We got a chance to read stories about Jesus. We talked about it in our last conversation and Jesus, right paid the ultimate sin for us. He loved us so much, right, he gave himself for us and we get an opportunity one day, when Jesus returns Right To walk in that promise, right To be able to fellowship with those that are believers. And the cool thing about having this relationship with Christ is when you give your life to Christ, right? You know, everything doesn't just change on the outside. Everything begins to change on the inside Totally, and it's with the relationship of the Holy Spirit.

I think we're going to probably read it later. When Jesus ascended, when he left, he said I'm going to send you the Holy Spirit. And we've been walking with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in us. We know him personally and that's what we've been teaching our kids, and so our four-year-old daughter. One morning she comes out the room and she's like, daddy, I wasn't scared last night. She's like I wasn't scared and I wasn't by myself. And I said really. She said you want to know who was with me. She said the holy spirit that's right.

She's so cute and I was like that's right, baby girl, the holy spirit is with you and he will never leave you. He gives us peace, he gives us rest, we can talk to him, he comforts us even in the middle of chaos. The Holy spirit inside of us. And so that made me really happy man to like hear our four-year-old girl come out of her bedroom in a morning say I'm not scared anymore because the Holy spirit was with me.

Yeah, super cool. Even Jordan had something come up this last weekend and he was at a friend's house and Spirit was with me. Yeah, super cool. Even Jordan had something come up this last weekend and he was at a friend's house and he was texting me and I was able to encourage him of like, hey, buddy, like, wherever you go, the Holy Spirit is there with you. You do not have to have those feelings. You don't have to have those feelings Like he is with you and he can give you peace and he can give you rest. And like, just to know that, we are instilling that in our kids.

And I know for me, even growing up, I watched my parents talk about the Holy Spirit. I watched babysitters that would watch me and they would talk about oh, the Holy Spirit was telling me to not do that and I didn't listen. And then this happened, like so it was a part of my childhood of watching my parents and people around me have that relationship with the Holy Spirit, of talking with him, of listening to him, of saying like, oh, I should have listened or I missed that and I should have seen it. You know things like that, but it's, it's so important that we teach our kids that from a young age of like, the Holy Spirit is with you and he is talking to you and he is teaching you.

Yeah, when did you realize that you had the power of the Holy Spirit or like that relationship with him? Because we were always taught you know, in church, right, you get saved, you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you believe that God came and he sent Jesus as his son, right, john 3, 16, right, everybody knows those words, but there's only a few of us that actually believe it. And when I say a few of us, I'm not talking about nine, 10, right, there's a percentage of Christians that actually really believe it. And why? It's because of the power of the Holy Spirit revealing those things, building that relationship. So, like I mean, when do you remember? Like man, wow, this is the Holy Spirit working in me.

I can't remember like the first time, but when you talk about man, the Holy Spirit is working in me. Something that always comes to mind first is what we call like your gut or your mama gut, like knowing, like no, you know. People in the world would say, trust your instincts, trust your gut. But the thing that comes up to me right away when you ask that question is like it's kind of like your, your mama gut, your instinct, like some kind of feeling. But when you're a believer, you have the, the knowledge to know that it's more than just a feeling. It is the power of the Holy Spirit. It's the relationship with the Holy Spirit that can nudge you or that can correct you, or that can encourage you or direct you or say like, ooh, don't do that. Or hey, maybe you should do this. Or hey, fix that. You said that incorrectly. Go back and fix your words of what you said.

So when you ask that question of like when was the first? I don't remember the first time, but I feel like that is something that I kind of am constantly tapping into of like in the season that I'm in with a 10 year old and a four year old, and knowing that like, hey, that unction, that feeling, that, mama, gut, it is more than that. It is founded in my relationship with the holy spirit and that those are times when I really need to lean in and listen of like, okay, what do I need to say in this moment with jordan?

or what do I need to do with brooklyn in this moment?

things like that yeah, I heard somebody tell me um, I was talking to a minister a couple weeks ago and they told me this thought that honestly changed my mindset on the Holy Spirit. This minister was telling me they said most people when they look at a situation and they think of, let's say, an act of kindness or they think of something that they can do that can change someone's life or something like that, they look at it and they say, oh, I wonder if this is God and it's probably me. Right, and we dismiss it. And this person told me I was like if you turn that around, it would change your life, versus of like, change it around how.

For example, you look at a situation and you hear somebody that's in need. You hear someone that's like man. They're telling their story and they're struggling about something. And you hear the story and you think like, like I should help them. I wonder if that's God telling me that. I wonder if that's the Holy Spirit, it's probably just me and we leave it alone. But if we turn it around and said, is that me that's thinking that it's probably God?

The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit Right, because most believers don't understand that the moment we received Christ, we received the Holy Spirit Right away.

Pierre: 9:17

The Holy Spirit instantly joins us and comes in us and lives inside of us. Now some people say, well, how come I don't see the manifestations? Or how come I don't see the power of the Holy Spirit? Well, you just got born again, you're brand new to it. So it's a relationship, right, it's a relationship that you have to constantly develop and grow and nurture and take care of, and so people who get saved they're like I just don't feel the Holy Spirit.

When was the last time you talked to him? When was the last time you asked him to reveal himself to you? You can do that, and also, we live in a world, too, where people want to just help themselves with books and podcasts and things like this. A podcast like this, right, if you're listening to us more than you're listening to the Holy Spirit as a believer, you got it all upside down. You got it all backwards. We're here as your local support, community support, to come alongside you and to courage and affirm this walk that we have in Christ. But the Holy Spirit is the best counselor, the best advisor. Matter of fact, the Holy Spirit won't bail on you. I'll bail on you real quick, boy, I'll dump you.

The Holy Spirit cannot leave you the.

Pierre: 10:29

Holy Spirit and will doesn't want to leave you. True, boy, I'll dump you. The Holy Spirit cannot leave you. The Holy Spirit and will doesn't want to leave you. True, because the Holy Spirit is one thing that can reveal to you the truth. And so believers get deceived that when they start falling into darkness or when they get trapped up in sin, right, guys are caught up watching porn, or women are caught up in lying and stealing, or, you know, you get all caught up in pride. They, they, they think maybe god's not with me, maybe the holy spirit left me.

No, the holy spirit is still there. What left you was the ability for you to allow yourself to be influenced by him. So it's like, for example, me sitting in the room with you and your dad sitting in a room with you, and both me and your dad are trying to get your attention Right. So you make a decision of who you want to listen to, right? The other person is still there, yeah, right. So the Holy Spirit and believers, the Holy Spirit is still there, yeah, but what happens is we cover him with all the noise.

He's distorted, covered up. There's so many different things. That's why we fast, which is a whole nother conversation for a whole nother day, because the fasting makes you die to yourself and your flesh and it gets you to activate your spirit.

Danilee: 11:42

Right.

Pierre: 11:42

Because now your flesh is weak and it strengthens your spirit. Why? Because you're hungry all the time, so you're praying Right and it strengthens your spirit. Why? Because you're hungry all the time, so you're praying Right you find yourself praying more and now all the noise. That's why when we fast okay, we cut out social media, tv, all those type of things, all the other influences. That was covering the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Pierre: 12:01

So I really do think that a lot of believers, unfortunately, are misled and they're deceived and they think that whenever they trip up, whenever they go through the cycle of temptation, sin, forgiveness, temptations and like man, maybe it's me, well, no, you have to go through fasting, you have to make yourself available to the Holy Spirit and submit yourself fully to the Holy Spirit, let go of your will. And that's happened to us. I mean, you remember that one time I got a call from this one church we was working with and they were like hey, what would it take for you to come out here? Yep, name your price, is it? Name the number? Name the number. What do you want? I was like, all right, cool, I need to make sure. It's definitely this amount, all this stuff. Like so the guy was like, the pastor was like done done.

He said it immediately.

Pierre: 12:51

He's like we got a job for you ready to go. Six figures ready to go beautiful townhouse townhouse, all that stuff. I got off the phone and immediately I felt discomfort I did not.

Danilee: 13:04

I felt, let's go right, right because we were in a really hard season at that time, yeah, and we were frustrated with the season that we were in and, to be honest with you, we were looking for the escape route escape route we were like evacuation route, this way like, let's go and so because at that time I completely submitted, like my will, yeah, and my desire, to the Holy Spirit.

Pierre: 13:32

I remember praying God revealed to me. Holy Spirit, will you reveal to me the truth? Should I do this? And instantly I started feeling discomfort. I didn't have peace. I didn't have peace. And some people say, well, peace is an indicator. Yeah, peace is an indicator. Yeah, peace is an indicator. There's other times you have to. Well, you have to really identify where's your peace coming from, because we, as human, we have peace too as well. You know, there could be times where man there's, there's peace in this whole situation. There could be times you could be in a storm and it's not peaceful, but it's still God.

Danilee: 14:07

It's true.

Pierre: 14:09

We've been in some storms, that's for sure. We've been in some situations and it was not peaceful Right.

Danilee: 14:15

And I knew we had to stand.

Pierre: 14:17

I knew God was still with us.

Danilee: 14:18

Yeah, for sure you know what I mean.

Pierre: 14:20

But there's other times there's this inner peace.

Danilee: 14:22

Yeah.

Pierre: 14:22

And that's the Holy Spirit. I did not feel peace, I felt discomfort, like I felt like I was being bribed, I felt like somebody was playing me. All these things, I mean within weeks, all those doors literally closed Sure did. It was through the power of my relationship that I have in the Holy Spirit.

Danilee: 14:41

And we talked about, like man, if we would have made that move.

Pierre: 14:45

Crazy.

Danilee: 14:45

And then those same things would have happened. We would have been in a much bigger, problematic situation. It would have been a complete and total mess, and so it was the influence of the Holy Spirit that told us hey, don't make this move yet.

Pierre: 15:04

Don't do the move yet, because he sees ahead. He sees the future, he has the truth, and to me I'm like man. Nobody can top the influence that the Holy Spirit has in my life.

Danilee: 15:15

Would you like if I said this statement? Would you agree that sometimes hearing the Holy Spirit, sometimes those thoughts, can be something that you wouldn't naturally have thought?

Pierre: 15:26

Yeah, I think sometimes there are times where I have a thought and I know it wasn't me by nature, I know it was the influence of the Holy spirit. Yeah, right, especially when it's to do good or especially when it goes against my nature.

Danilee: 15:40

Or like that. That was an option, an opportunity of a great pay, great house, great crew of people, like all the things that we would. Naturally, if we could have a wishlist, we would have wrote that down. So for you, naturally, as a human being, you'd be like check, check, check, check, check, moving on up. But the Holy Spirit was like no, not yet.

Pierre: 16:03

No, you ain't.

Danilee: 16:03

No, you ain't Stay right there, so it was literally the opposite of what you would have naturally felt. I think that is some a lot of times when you hear the Holy spirit, you're like I would have never thought that Like one time we were going in a fast and we had a few things that we'd already talked about and I remember that morning we starting it and I was kind of like reminding myself I was getting ready of like okay, I'm going to fast social media, I'm going to fast bread, I'm going to fast this, and all of a sudden, literally and y'all laugh because it was cheese popped in my head so fast. I had never, never, fasted something like that. And when that thought came in my mind I didn't want to fast that. I was like no, thank you, I have my three things. I already agreed upon it, like, but I knew that didn't come from me.

Pierre: 16:51

The Holy Spirit was like no girl you got to fast the cheese you like that cheese.

Danilee: 16:55

I want it in my eggs, my salad, my sandwiches, like everything. Then that was a very hard fast, but knowing that like, oh, that was not my idea, that did not come from me, and because I was in that moment of praying and listening to the Holy Spirit, and as soon as I heard that or thought that, I felt the conviction of, like girl, you better listen, because it would also been out of like, I guess, rebellion or disobedience if I would have been like nah, I'm good, I have my things, and I've already established it, and so it was a very challenging fast, but we for sure saw God move in that. So, like, nah, I'm good, I have my things and I've already established it. And so it was a very challenging fast, but we for sure saw God move in that. So you're right, fasting is a different conversation but, just knowing that.

Danilee: 17:35

That's what that conversation with the Holy Spirit feels like and can sound like. It does sound like our own thoughts, but oftentimes it does not match what our natural character or natural tendencies would be.

Pierre: 17:47

Yeah, and I do think, too, that people that are believers, that believe in Christ and have the Holy Spirit living in them, like the Bible says, daily we need to renew our mind. Yeah, and when I think about that, I think of it like this. I think about, like you know, like brushing your teeth, right, you go one or two days, three days, four days, you go. You go one or two days, three days, four days, you go, all these days. There's this pile up.

Danilee: 18:09

Are you saying one or two, three, four days of not brushing your teeth? Hey, some of y'all be doing it out there. I just need to clarify the conversation.

Pierre: 18:16

I don't do it.

Danilee: 18:17

What are you saying? You're saying if you go a few days without brushing your teeth, what Exactly?

Pierre: 18:21

Okay, if you go a few days without brushing your, there becomes this buildup and there's this cover up. And daily we do it right, to get out all the germs. Right, to get out all the things that we've ate that day. Right, all the mess, all the stuff that piled up inside of our mouth right At the end of the day. Right, I floss, I brush mouthwash to clean up everything from the day. And to me, I see it like that as believers. Like every single day, I clean, I cleanse, I renew my mind. Anything that was in me that came in from the world, I take it captive, I make a submit to the power of Christ, I cast it out, I renounce it. Even there's times if I've watched something that I know like man, I shouldn't have watched that thing because I can feel it inside of my soul. I renounce it, I cleanse it. I'll pray. Holy Spirit, can you please remove this?

from my mind, and so I think a lot of believers don't understand that practice of daily renewal. It's a decision that we make every single day. Daily renewal, like it's. It's a it's a decision that we make every single day. And so what happens to us on the backside is, every time we go one or two days without acknowledging our sin and sin could be something as as as hate, or or coveting right, jealousy, like wanting something that someone else has, or wanting hate on someone else, or hurt or pain on somebody else, and so not acknowledging those things, renouncing them, submitting them to christ through the power of the holy spirit, there becomes a piled up. So now, what should have been cleansed, clean, pearling white's, covered up by all the days after days after days after days of just noise, decay, mess, and so someone who, who has the holy spirit in them is like I haven't heard him in a long time. Well, let's, let's, let's backtrack let's look at your life.

When was the last time you asked him?

Pierre: 20:26

when was the last time you prayed? When was the last time you said holy spirit, will you reveal to me my mess ups, the things that are deep down inside my iniquities? Yeah right, the deep dark things that only you see, yeah, that I actually don't even know, or it comes up and I bury it again.

Reveal it to me yeah, that's Even there sometimes. Like we live in a society that is so driven by things and clothes and like accessories, and like it's not even for me like even big houses and big cars, but it's literally like oh, amazon shopping, oh it's this, it's that, and I consistently just give that to the holy spirit. Like I feel sometimes that I don't know if it's like the consumerism, like we live in such a culture where they're always telling you, oh you need this, oh you need this, oh you need the new phone, oh you need the new, this. Like, and I feel that rise up and I always will say like when I feel that number one, I have to turn my phone off yeah because that's where it comes from 97% of the time.

And then I will always pray like Lord, take that out of my heart, like I don't want to feel, like I need things, like I don't want to walk around with that and knowing that that is not a healthy way of living, and like God, take that need out of me, me like, but with what you were saying of, just like constantly bringing it to him, not shoving it down and ignoring it, but literally laying it before him and saying like, holy spirit, can you take that desire?

Danilee: 21:58

of just stuff out of me like can you just? Pull it out, those roots, like that's why we talk about let's digging. It's like getting those roots out and saying like I don't want this part of my flesh, I don't want this desire. Can you take it out of me?

Pierre: 22:13

Oh yeah, man, we're made new through the power of the Holy Spirit, and so it's a decision. And what I love too about our faith is that it's all free will, like the Holy Spirit is not going to force himself upon you, not going to force you, like oh my gosh, I couldn't control my hands. I've heard some crazy christians say I just lost control.

Danilee: 22:33

That actually doesn't make sense it's not, it might be, it might you might be demonically possessed.

Pierre: 22:41

It's demonic when you say I just lost control and my hand just started doing like. No, the holy spirit would never do that right. The holy spirit would never possess you. No, like no. One of the biggest fruits of the holy spirit is self-control, self-control. So if you can't control your hand or I just lost control, that might have just been your flesh, right, that might have been just you, homie. Yeah, straight up. I've heard, I've heard baby christians say that like I love control, and some of them didn't know yeah, yeah.

Pierre: 23:08

And some of them were misled or deceived, and it's always my job to say hey, fruits of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, Ooh, and my favorite one, self-control.

Pierre: 23:25

Self-control. And there's been times, man, I've been in some situations where, like I can feel anger rising up in me, mm-control. And there's been times, man, I've been in some situations where, like I can feel anger rising up in me, whether it's an altercation, a confrontation, I can feel anger rising up in me and I remember, I pray, I'm like Holy Spirit, keep me calm. Self-control, gentleness, goodness, and I can feel, I can feel it overtaking me, I can feel it over to. In those moments I'm just like yo, how'd you stay so calm? You've, I mean, I've come home and tell you stories, certain things, and you're like how'd you stay so calm the whole time? The Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit.

Pierre: 24:00

Listen, I'm not saying that, but if you don't have the Holy Spirit, that you should never get tired and you should never be burnt out and things like that, I get it Like it's if you didn't have any sleep, if you worked all day, things like that, especially if you're serving in church, you know, or you're working full time, you're a mom, you're an entrepreneur, all these things that you will physically get tired. So I'm not saying that, but what I'm saying is there's something unique and special about spiritual strength, doing something through the power of the Holy Spirit. Yeah, even for me this past weekend right, my schedule was wild, wild. You remember my schedule. And actually when I pulled up to church the very next morning church, someone asked me like because they knew my schedule like they said, are you tired? And I was like let me think about it. I had to think and I was like, physically I'm tired, but in my spirit I'm like hyped, I'm pumped up, let's go. There's a big difference.

And you function in that way, completely abnormally, like how you function is abnormal, but it is the power of the Holy spirit. It is a gift that you have that you can tap into your spirit man and be like no, I'm good, I'm physically tired, but my spirit man is ready to go.

Pierre: 25:14

And here's one of the indicators when I'm able to know the difference of whether it's me, like my strength, or God's strength. When it's my strength, I can't stop talking about me and what I'm doing. When it's God's strength, I can't stop talking about what he's doing. It's good. Those moments I was like man. I'm tired, but, like man, God is good and God's up to something. I know God is working. So I'm like, oh okay, those are practical indicators of whether it's my strength or God's strength. And I think sometimes people get it mixed up. And I think sometimes people get it mixed up and I think there's some believers out there man like, if they lost the strength of God, some of them wouldn't even know it because they've been doing it their own strength the whole time, which is crazy. That is crazy. It's crazy. There was this one time. I remember that one church that we worked for many years ago and something happened in leadership where it caused me to get offended or allowed me to get offended, and I let it take over me.

Yeah, Cause it was a choice.

Pierre: 26:15

It's a choice. Yeah, again, one of the fruits of the spirit is self-control, right, so I allowed it to get to me. Why? Because negative thoughts came in my mind towards those people and I decided to meditate on it and let it run wild like a fire. Because it's a choice, man. The Bible says we need to take all those thoughts captive, catch them. Thoughts Be like no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I rebuke you right now, you are not going to plant seeds and you're not going to grow in my mind. Right now. Holy Spirit, through the power of the Spirit, I command this thought right now to leave.

I didn't do that and for a few years, like I let hate grow in my heart, like animosity, darkness, like it was bad, and I was operating in my strength, I was able to fake it, which you know, sometimes funny thing about faking is like you think you're faking people and some people you're you're not faking, you know I I will say I think I got even more offended and more hurt because I wanted my leaders at that time to approach me and say, hey, what's wrong? And they never did. So that's a conversation for a whole nother day, because for me as a leader. If I can sense something's wrong with, with with my team or someone that I'm leading, I'm always going to go say, hey, I sent something, right, but that's a conversation a whole nother day. But that didn't happen, right? This was. I mean, this could have been 10 years ago. And, um man, I remember when I completely submitted it to God and I was like man, I'm tired of feeling this way, I'm tired of being angry, I'm tired of being mad, I'm tired of feeling hate. I hate it. It was eating me up, like it caused me to just be divisive. I was just doing all kinds of things. I mean, some of the stuff that I was doing was it was influenced by Satan. I knew it because it was causing division, right, I would. I couldn't even make eye contact with some of the leaders, like it was. Just, it was a bad place. I remember when I gave it to God.

I remember when the Holy Spirit started working with me. It didn't happen instantly, it happened gradually. I remember fasting. I remember fasting. I remember praying, right, because the Holy Spirit is not just going to be like I'm taking control from here. No, it was like Holy Spirit, I give you control, we give him power. We give him power over us, we give him access, we open up our minds. We open up our minds, we open up our hands, we open up our hearts and say Holy Spirit, come into me, I give you control now, you take over, right. And so he's not going to hijack us, right, right.

And so I remember the night we were sitting in church and my leader, he was upstate, he was on stage preaching. Yeah, uh, my leader, he was upstate, he was on stage preaching. And I remember still feeling so much like back and forthness, just back and forth, I like him, I don't know, and just little things that offended me, that are allowed to offend me, and I was just praying and praying, sort of praying for him, praying for him, praying for him. And I remember that night, instantly, whatever I was holding on, I felt it lift off of me and I don't know if you remember like I had my arm around you and I looked at you. I said I think I just released them.

Yep, I remember exactly where we were sitting.

Pierre: 29:15

I was like I think I just released him the hate that I was holding onto, the grudge, the animosity, the darkness, the unforgiveness man unforgiveness bro. The animosity, the darkness, the unforgiveness man, unforgiveness bro. It's a cancer and I was holding onto it. And I remember when the Holy spirit, like I, gave it to the Holy spirit and I love how you know we we talked about in our last episode we posted it on our recap of Jesus saying like man, take my yoke. My burden is easy, yeah, so like like grab onto me.

Pierre: 29:46

It's light, and so that's what I did. I said, god, I'm tired of holding on to this, I'm tired of holding on to this darkness. I give it all back to you. And the holy spirit took it and lift it up until this day. Like, we're good, I have good relationships with them. Like, and it was the through the power of the holy spirit, man yeah like.

It's a really good relationship, that I really pray for all believers to really activate and let the Holy Spirit move into their lives. But you can't just be passive and just be like, well, I hope the Holy Spirit takes over. You have to give him control, you have to give him access, you have to nurture and take care of that relationship.

Yeah, I want to read the scripture. It's in John 14, because, even as we're talking about it, right, like the Holy Spirit is not talked about as much as God and Jesus, but he is the third person of the Trinity. He is not any of a lesser power, he is not talked about as much, but he is the last one that was revealed in scripture and like he is just as much of God and Jesus and the Holy spirit, like they are equal parts of each other. Um, I heard someone describe it, um, like when we were studying for this, of even relating it to like an apple. Like an apple, you have the skin of the apple, you have the meat of the apple and you have the core, and so, like it's all three parts of the Trinity that work together and they all have different roles that they play.

And so I was reading the scripture in John 14, it says and I will ask the father and he will give you another advocate who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, and those are words of Jesus. And so thinking of Jesus saying like that was before he left this earth, and knowing that, like as Jesus was leaving this earth. He's like I'm not going to leave you by yourself. I'm going to leave you someone that we've heard, the Holy spirit, referred to as the helper, the advocate. Like he is our helper, he is the one that helps us to grow in those fruits of love, peace, patience, joy, long suffering, self-control. Like we cannot do that without the help of the Holy.

Spirit, he's the comforter. I remember when my mom was passing and when my dad called me saying that, hey, you guys should all fly in. Your mom is going to transition. Yeah, and we all flew in and I remember us walking into the room and seeing her laying there on that bed and, like I knew it, it was just a matter of days.

Yeah, like she was ready to transition yeah and even though on the outside I was sad, because emotionally, because I'm still a human and that's my mom, yeah, and all the memories just flooded my mind in that moment and we care for her and she's the strongest woman I've ever known in my whole entire life Legit. I'm not saying that because she's my mom and I'm not saying that because she's passed Like legit. It was like what? How'd you take that pizza pan out the oven with your bare hands?

How did you fast for so many days?

Just how did you pray for seven hours?

Pierre: 33:09

Mom, I woke up and you were praying. I went to bed. You were praying. I woke up again, you're still praying. Who's on that other line? When do you?

Danilee: 33:17

sleep. Who's on the phone?

Pierre: 33:19

I'm like Jesus don't sleep, holy Spirit don't sleep, God don't sleep and my mom don't sleep.

Danilee: 33:26

She's a different breed, for sure. But there was this peace that filled my heart that I can't, I can't really describe yeah, there were moments where I was nervous that you were tripping Like cause you said you're fine and I, as your wife, I would be like, are you sure? Like there were moments where I felt like he might be stuffing this all down and it could come out in a few weeks and really come back with a vengeance Like explode and I end up on the news.

Danilee: 33:56

Literally there were moments because that's how much peace you had. Yeah, it was. It was a like a real, true gift from the Lord to watch you walk through that with that much peace and me being your wife and walking it with you thinking like there's so much peace.

Danilee: 34:15

I'm not sure that he's good, like and it. And it really was the truth. There was never this explosion of emotion, or frustration, or anger, like there was never this like volcano of emotions, because it really was the Holy spirit that was walking us with, walking with us through that whole thing, even just being in the room with her the whole time, the kids laughing in the room, playing hide and go seek, like it was. It was a moment that I'll never forget.

Pierre: 34:47

Because, because the comforter was in the room, Absolutely and Jesus said I have to leave, I'm going to send you something, a great gift, a great relationship, and it's a relationship that we have through the Holy Spirit. So if you're listening to this and you are a believer and you haven't stepped into that new season of activating your relationship that you have with the Holy Spirit, you are missing out on this faith walk. You cannot do this alone, yeah, right. And if you're listening to this right now and you believe in God and you're like, ooh, I don't know about this whole Jesus thing, I definitely know about the Holy Spirit thing. I'm here to tell you you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

If you're feeling unsettled, anxiety, worry, stress, I'm here to tell you that the Holy Spirit literally wants to come into your life and give you peace, give you love, give you joy, fill you with goodness and kindness, to the point where can't nobody say nothing to you. You can go to work, your coworker could talk all the trash that they want, your boss can say whatever they want to do, they can fire you. I can lose everything right now, but nobody can take away my joy. And this is not man-made joy, right, this is not man-made happiness, because I have things, because I'm on the other side of a really nice camera and I look like this and stuff like this. And you guys see, who cares about any of that, I'm telling you, is I can lose everything right now, but nobody can take away the peace of God, and we are living in a wild world, we are living in crazy times right now, and you cannot do this by yourself.

Pierre: 36:23

I'm telling you right now, try Jesus. I want to pray for somebody right now, if you listen to this, and so I want to pray right now that anyone who has received Jesus has received the Holy Spirit. I want to pray that you open up your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to do a good work in you. And for those of you that do not know Christ, all you have to do is say God, I believe in you and I believe that you brought your son down on this earth to walk with us. And, jesus, I ask that you send me the Holy Spirit and that he lives in me. Holy Spirit, I want to build, formulate, cultivate a relationship with you.

So, I want to pray for you right now, father. I just thank you. For every single person that is listening to this right now, jesus, I ask that you plant the Holy Spirit into their heart right now, in the mighty name of Jesus. If someone is listening to this right now and they've been lost and they've been broken and they've accepted Jesus and the Holy Spirit hasn't been activated, I pray that right now, holy Spirit, you will activate in their heart right now, in the mighty name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, will you fill them with all the fruits? I pray that you would convict them and not conviction like it's a punishment, conviction as if it's a gift from God, father, that you will steer them in the right direction. I pray against all the works of the enemy. Right now, we come against it and rebuke it.

In the mighty name of Jesus, father, I pray for that person right now that is listening to this, that's been on the fence, and they don't know anything about you and they're concerned, and they're worried, god, about all their things. I pray that right now, you will meet them exactly where they are right now, in the mighty name of Jesus, lord, and that you will reveal yourself to them in Jesus', name, holy Spirit, we pray for your will to be done. We give you full control. In the mighty name of Jesus, will you come into our hearts and have your way, father? We just repent right now, god, of anything that's been inside of us, that we've been hanging on to and that you see it, father. We open up our hands, god, and we take on your yoke, your burden, god, because it is light and it's easy. Lord Jesus, father, will you have your way? In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray Amen.
